Each year, OUT Spokin's major event is the Courage Classic bicycle tour to benefit Children's Hospital. Since this will be our 12th year to participate in the Courage Classic, we would like to have a large team attendance in 2009.  The Courage Classic will take place on July 25 - 27, 2009.

This fully-supported three-day tour of Colorado's high country begins and ends in Leadville, Colorado and includes rides over some of our state's most famous mountain passes. Distance options enable riders to chose between the base route or include options such as climbing Loveland Pass. The Courage Classic is limited to 2000 riders, and it sells out every year, last year they sold out by the end of May. So don't delay registering .

You can check out the Courage Classic and sign up for our team at http://www.couragetours.com/2009/team/outspokin. You can even register online! When you register for the Courage Classic, don't forget to include your team affiliation -- OUT Spokin -- on your registration form. Your registration fee includes luggage transportation, a fully supported route with well-stocked aid stations every 10 or so miles, and supports one of Colorado's great charities.

WHAT IF I CAN'T AFFORD IT?
We have made a limited number of rider scholarships available in the past to those who are willing to ride but are short on cash. If you need details, please send an email.

WHERE DO I STAY DURING THE TOUR?
Lodging is available through Copper Mountain, or if you're a hearty camper, you can join us at our spectacular Rainbow Village.
