Its never to early to start and Working with Team Colorado Will make this a great year. This is what I have started not including what we have planed on the teamcolorado website calender.

I have set up a bowling fundraiser at AMF Monaco lanes. But I still need a few things to help out. I need to know if we want to do a Raffle. But we would need a couple different prizes. Your asking what can those prizes be? Well, I was hoping WE, meaning YOU, could get a few local business to donate Gift Cards for products, labor, etc.,etc. to raffle off. And this wouldn't be just for this bowling fundraiser. We could use them at all of our Fundraisers if needed. Ask Bike shops, coffee shops, local eats, anything interesting works.

So more info on the Bowling fundraiser
AMF Monaco Lanes
6767 Leetsdale DR
Denver Co 80224
February 13th Noon- 2
The Bar Will Be Open

Would be $25 per person which would be 2 hours of Bowling, shoes, and whatever wackyness we can bring
I have reserved 10 lanes at the moment with 6 people per lane so at least 60 people can play but can always take more.

I do have a flier set up and will get a email with it out to everyone once I find out all the final details. And I will set up Party info on both Connexion and Facebook. So we can get the word out and get some rsvp's in for approx count.
So please if you can help me out with getting some PRIZES for the raffle and letting me know by saturday Jan 22nd.

I will also have more info for everyone at the Kickoff meeting on Jan 30th.

Please feel free to email me back any ides or if you have prizes you would like raffled off. Need to know ASAP.

Thanks

ALC Team Colorado Brunch
Hamburger Mary's

We here at AIDS/LifeCycle would first like to say thank you to our Colorado veterans for signing up for what’s sure to be another great year at ALC! We’d also like to welcome our first time participants to our community! As a way of showing our appreciation and kicking off a great year, we’d like to invite you to join us for brunch and mimosas on 10/10/10 at 10:00 am.

We’ll get to know each other, and register as many people to join us for ALC 10 as we can. ALC 9 had fewer cyclists than expected, which meant we raised less money for our services than planned. Help us change that for ALC 10 and bring a friend (or several)!

This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to hang out with Team Colorado leaders Don Henderson, Skip Powelson and Michael Melott, as well as LA Gay & Lesbian Center Director of Development, Bart Verry, AND register for AIDS/LifeCycle 10 at our special discounted rate!

Date: Sunday, October 10, 2010
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Address:
700 E. 17th Avenue
Denver, CO 80203

If you'd like to attend this event you can RSVP online at:

Well, it was another great weekend for MTB in Colorado. On Sunday Genette and I lead a wonderful ride through the Fraser Valley. The ride was nice and cool and man the views were great. Speaking of views, I rode a MTB ride on Saturday that's been my secret MTB easy and fall color ride. This is a great ride for a beginning MTB rider, a couple for a romantic ride through the aspens, or if you just need to get away on your own to forget the previous week.

All you do is drive (76 miles) south on 285 passed Bailey and the town of Jefferson. A few more miles south turn right on a dirt road to go to the town of Como, CO. Como's has a hotel/eating hall, small mercantile, and a gallery. You can park in Como around the fire house or drive 3 more miles to the trailhead (the trailhead has a nice port-a-pottie). The dirt road travels 8 miles up to Boreas Pass, you'll have to have a mountain bike or cross bike to ride the road. You'll be sharing the dirt road with trucks and cars. You won't believe the views! You'll climb to Boreas Pass/The Continental Divide around 11,000 ft. Remember the road is only 8 miles; that is just two "Lookout Mountains". The road used to have a train track on it, so it's easy!

The peak of the leaves should be this weekend and next weekend for Boreas Pass. So get out there and enjoy the great Colorado outdoors!

Have fun and I'd love to hear how you like the ride.
