Intermediate The hard part is at the beginning. We start in Downtown Golden and go up, up, up Lookout then continue going up to Evergreen. There is a short distance that you will ride on I-70 but it is very short and there are nice, wide shoulders. Once on Highway 74, continue through Evergreen until you get downtown. Turn left, continuing to follow Highway 74 to Morrison. The road winds down to Morrison where the route turns left onto Highway 26. This is another climb of about 3 miles back to I-70. Go under I-70 and work your way back to Golden.
