Description:   Easy moderate paced fall ride following Cherry Creek bike bath to the reservoir, a lap around and return to Denver via surface street through the DTC, Cherry Hills, past Porter Hospital. Option for those riders wanting to return via the bike path.

Description:   We'll head south on the Platte River trail and turn around at Hudson Gardens. This one's for those new rider group folks, or those that just want to join us for a great day on your bike. Feeling strong and want to go farther? Title:   Lyons Ward Loop

Start Location:   Lyons Park-and-Ride 4th Ave and Broadway, Lyons

Description:   This is a beautiful early fall ride! Give yourself at least 75 minutes to get to Lyons from Denver. Take 1-25 north to the Lyons exit (CO66) turn west and follow into Lyons (approx 15 miles). Stay on the road until you get to the big curve on Main and turn left. We'll meet at the parking lot just west of the Vistor Center. Ward can be a bit chilly, so be prepared.

Title:   Before August is gone... Ice Cream!

Description:   Gotta have some… Ice Cream; however, before the big finale we will take a tour of 3 of the Denver Parks (Wash Park, City Park and Cheesman Park). On the way back we will stop at Bonnie Brae Ice Cream for a tasty snack. This route is rated for beginners and will be lead as a no-drop ride. If you're not a beginner but love Ice Cream as much as I do, feel free to join us.

Title:   To the Top of Mount Evans (Challenge Yourself)

Start Location:   Echo Lake parking lot / Gate to Mount Evans

Description:   As riders coming up from Idaho Springs rendezvous with us at Echo Lake, we will join them for the ride to the top. Bring $3 entrance fee to the park and appropriate cold weather gear for the ride down. The route is 15 miles up to 14,000 ft and 15 miles down. Be sure to leave Denver in time to start riding. We have included Intermediate riders in the rating to encourage riders that are ready to push their level; however, please keep in mind that this is a challenging ride.

Title:   Idaho Springs to the top of the world (OK, to the top of Mt Evans)

Start Location:   Hwy 103, parking lot across from Idaho Springs High School

Description:   For those that want a warm up and an additional challenge before the climb Mt Evans, we will start in Idaho Springs at the base of Hwy 103 and I-70 (across from the High School). After climbing to Echo Lake we will rendezvous with others climbing Mt Evans and begin the assent to the top. Total distance will be about 60 miles(includes mileage to the top of Mt Evans). Please make sure you bring cold weather gear and $3 for the entrance fee to the park.

Description:   From downtown Golden we will head north to Hwy 46, then climb, and climb some more up to the Peak to Peak highway. Then, ride over to Nederland for some fresh water and back track a bit to Hwy 72 and descend through Coal Creek Canyon back down to Hwy 93 into Golden. This has some steep and sustained climbing. Bring plenty of water.

Title:   It's Time To Roll To Ward!

Description:   This is a great ride to evaluate your training plus Ward is pretty cool! The route is an out and back, 18 miles up and 18 miles down with a nasty little pitch at the top. Go to Boulder take N. Foothills Hwy 36 North to Altona or Lefthand Canyon Dr. Park on the side of the road across from the Greenbrier Restaurant. Title:   Hight Elevation Training Ride: Mt. Evans, The Best Thing You'll Ever Do!

Then it's over to the tail end of the Lariet loop and back to Downtown through Morison, Dinasour ridge and Golden.

Start Location:   Copper Mtn. Resort Parking Lot (Next to CC Rainbow Village)

Description:   We begin at Copper Mtn. Resort(Chappel Parking Lot aka Rainbow Village for CC). The route will continue over Vail Pass, Battlement Mtn., Tennessee Pass, to Leadville and over Fremont Pass. This is an extreme cycling route for experienced riders which will take all day. Plan for extreme weather, so bring layered clothing and plenty of food and water. There is a period of the ride with no services, so this is a 3 water bottle ride. The car trip from Denver to Copper Mtn. Resort takes 2 hrs.

Approximately 2,950 feet of climbing.

This is a beautiful challenging ride and a great training ride for MS 150, Triple Bypass, and Courage Classic. Description:   This is uphill the entire way, except for the return back to the car of course. Be prepared for a lung busting, picturesque ride. This ride is an advanced ride and will be self paced; however, since it is an out and back, feel free to join us and turn around at any time. Bring lots of water and appropriate cold weather gear, it can be cold on top and you there is always the possibility of afternoon showers in the mountains.

Description:   This is fantastic hill climb, ideal training for all the upcoming summer rides! This route is part of the Mtn. Evans hill climb; you're going to love it! Use the climb to increase power & bike handling skills. It's a 13 miles steady climb up and 13 miles down. The start is chilly & the decent is cold cold, so bring the appropriate winter clothing. It takes about 2hrs to climb to Echo Lake, so you could be back in Denver by 12 noon. Car pooling is a possible, for more information call me.

Description:   We will start at the old Albertson's parking lot at Sheridan and Hampden, head out to Morrison, up Red Rocks, then loop around back through Bear Creek Lake Park and back to Sheridan and Hampden. I don't know the exact mileage, but it is about 20 miles to Morrison and back so add 3-5 miles for the Red Rocks loop.

Description:   Ride starts with a climb out of Golden up Lookout Mt. It then follows along US 40 to I-170; a short ride along I-70 to Evergreen Parkway; along the Parkway to Bergen Park, Evergreen and a nice downhill into Morrision; over Dinosaur Ridge or and back into Golden. Those who want to climb a bit more can go through Red Rocks on the way to Dinasour Ridge. Approximately 2,950 feet of climbing. Come join us! Fall is here and the colors should be nice in the Foothills.

Description:   Celebrate Fall in the High Country! We'll start in Lyons and take Hwy 36 to Left Hand Canyon and head up to Ward. Be prepared for a good climb on the way up to Ward. It can be pretty chilly up there, so dress warmly! After a rest in Ward we'll head up to Highway 72, turning right on Highway 7 back to Lyons. The ride will take about 5 hours.
